Kurt is an enthusiastic Physio who grew up in Tasmania before moving to Northern New South Wales to follow his dream of becoming a Physio. He completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at Southern Cross University before completing his Master’s of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland.
With a background in endurance sports, including competing in Ironman triathlon and marathon running – Kurt has keen interest in working with running-related injuries, and overuse injuries of the shoulder, knee and ankle whilst also enjoying treating neck pain.
He enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, using his experience with exercise based rehabilitation and manual therapy to help patients achieve their goals – whether that’s returning to sport, work, or everyday life. Kurt values patient education as a key part of rehabilitation, helping individuals feel confident and in control of their recovery.
Outside of work, you’ll find Kurt running, surfing, camping and enjoying an active coastal lifestyle.
