Do I need a referral for treatment? No, you don’t need any referral to make an appointment at our practice. Please phone our friendly team on 02 6674 8505 to book, or book online now!
Are your Physiotherapists SIRA approved? All of our Physiotherapists are SIRA approved meaning we are able to accept any of your Work Cover or CTP claims. At the time of booking, information such as your claim number and which insurance provider you have been designated is beneficial so we are able to arrange payment from the insurance company directly on your behalf.
Do you accept Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) and DVA Referrals? Yes, we do accept EPC and DVA referrals from your GP under the Medicare scheme. For EPC referrals, at the time of booking please discuss with one of our friendly team if you require a bulk billing Physiotherapist.
What should I bring and wear to my appointment? Please bring any referrals you may have from doctors, specialists or surgeons. If you have any scans or images of the relevant body part you’re needing treatment for this will also be beneficial to bring along with you. Please bring your Private Health Insurance card if you are wishing to claim on the spot. We want you to feel comfortable at your appointment so we ask you to please try and wear or bring clothing that is accessible to the area being treated – eg: Shorts if your leg/ankle is being treated, tops with access to shoulders.
Why does my SMS reminder ask me to bring a towel? Due to COVID-19 we are washing double the amount of towels than usual, bringing a towel helps reduce our load just a little bit.
Do you offer group exercise classes? Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we have restrictions on the amount of people we can have in our rehabilitation clinic at the one time for clinical pilates. We are currently offering 45minute one on one sessions that have the potential to become a small group of 2 or three.
Are you an NDIS Service Provider? Kingscliff Beach Physiotherapy is a proud provider of services to both Plan Managed and Self Managed participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We have both male and female Physiotherapists who are passionate about helping and supporting participants achieve their goals. The clinic has wheelchair access and the public carpark across the road has disabled parking.
